My Story

Martin has lectured and presented motivational seminars on all facets of business all over the country for more than 20 years and locally for more than 30 years. In addition to his book on sales, he has been published with almost 100 articles; some have been published internationally.

Professional Athletes all go to pre-season training to refresh and renew their skills; shouldn’t sales professionals and business people? Marty’s new book “How To Sell The Brooklyn Bridge & Other Stuff’, a how-to guide for new & seasoned sales professionals. His seminars are most compelling and are designed as “How To” rather than “What To” learning experiences

He has created many “Team Building” programs which are designed to raise team spirit which leads to greater productivity and increased profits. His spirit is almost magical as he helps guide business people down that road to success.

Marty is extremely involved in the Long Island community. He has been active in the Hauppauge Industrial Association since shortly after its inception. He has served on the entertainment committee for many years; he has been on the trade show committee for all their shows and presented in more than 25 of them.

His service to the Long Island community also includes his serving on the Board of the Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as on several of the CVB committees.

Marty has served on the Board of the Local International Special Events Society chapter for more than 15 years. He has also been active with the Long Island Association and the Advancement for Commerce, Industry and Technology and other organizations.

He has served on 3 Schools Business Industry Advisory Boards; Smithtown’s IAB, Sachem and East Islip as well. Marty continues to mentor students at Smithtown H.S’s DECA Program.

Marty has been active as a FUNdraiser for the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Juvenile Diabetes, the 1 in 9, Breast Cancer research fundraising initiatives, the Big Babe Breast Cancer teams, Ronald McDonald House, Contractors for Kids as well as many other Not for Profit groups for many years.

Before retiring, Marty owned and managed Event Pros Inc., a full-service resource, Marty and his team have planned and produced nearly 20,000 events, including both corporate and personal milestones; earning three international awards for excellence.

In addition, the company using Marty’s unique Psychophysical concept, has created many successful Team Building Programs since the early 80s. Other corporate expertise includes; Event Marketing, Trade Shows, Product Launches, Open Houses, and other special events designed to market various products and services.

If the truth be known, Marty’s gift for “bringing his passion to everything he does” is not just a business for him; it’s a wonderful way of life.
